Authorised Drug and Alcohol Screening Officer

​This Wilson Medic One course delivers the nationally recognised unit of competency HLTPAT304D Collect Pathology Specimens other than Blood and will teach students how to perform drug and alcohol screening for workplace employees, following the Australian Standards.

The program and associated materials having been designed such that they are in accordance with AS/NZS 4308:2008 and AS 4760:2006.

This is competency based training. After successful completion of the programme you will be awarded a Nationally Recognised Statement of Attainment for HLTPAT304D Collect pathology specimens other than blood.

Course Objectives

​Elective units are not applicable for this course.

Entry Requirements

​Students should be able to read and write at approximately year 12 level, and already be in the workforce.

Credit for skills and past study

Wilson Medic One mutually recognises Statement(s) of Attainment and qualifications issued by other RTOs. RPL or short course is available for students who can provide work history meeting the assessment evidence requirements. For further information please contact the Training Manager.

Certification

Following the successful completion of the program a Statement of Attainment will be issued.
