The Diploma of Paramedical Science (Ambulance) is the next step in your learning pathway from Certificate IV Health Care (Ambulance), and provides you with the knowledge and skills you need to respond to emergency situations.

Wilson Medic One strongly supports the use of this qualification by any individual who is required to provide paramedical services outside of a state ambulance service (i.e. Mining and Offshore) and it meets the Australian Qualification Framework (AQF) requirements.​

Entry Requirements

  • HLT41012: Certificate IV in Health Care – (Ambulance) or equivalent
  • Defensive Driving certificate no older than 6 months at the commencement of Module 2
  • Unrestricted Driving Licence
  • Police Clearance AND Working with Children Check Strong literacy and numeracy skills
  • Strong literacy and numeracy skills
  • Workplace / work life experience


Credit for skills and past study

Wilson Medic One mutually recognises Statement(s) of Attainment and qualifications issued by other RTO's.

Certification

Following the successful completion of the program, Qualification Testamur and Record of Achievement will be issued in accordance with the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF).
